MPI Recognizes FireFree Coatings as a "Green" Product

San Rafael, CA, USA, Master Painter’s Institute (MPI) recently announced the successful qualification of Firefree 88® as a MPI listed fire retardant paint meeting the stringent requirements for Green Standards Performance GPS -01 and GPS- 02.

Master Painter’s Institute paint and coatings listing service is used by federal and state specification writers, as well as major architectural firms, when specifying paint and coating products that will enable them to reach the specific Green qualifications for Green Building design and LEED registration as an environmentally friendly building. MPI interacts with critical environmental organizations such as US Green Building Council, LEED, LEED Canada, National Institute of Building Sciences and Environment Canada to verify and achieve Green Building Products Standards.
